The Studio Manager is a key management position, integral in in the day-to-day operations of the studio. They focus on the following areas of work:

  1. Staff Management: Ensure day-to-day studio staffing to secure class and front desk coverage within studio or offsite classes. Oversee recruiting, training and hiring of front desk staff. Assist with recruiting and training of instructor positions. Facilitate a positive, friendly working environment to provide a BOHO experience for team members. Create BOHO’s best cheerleaders – Team BOHO!

  2. Customer Service: Must have a great smile, a warm hello, an outgoing personality, and a willingness to want every client to succeed. Solve problems and manage our clients’ needs while understanding BOHO’s policies and goals.

  3. Studio Facilities: Manage all equipment, repairs, general maintenance of studio facilities. Manage studio supplies and facilities retail inventory. Ensure studio cleanliness to create the BOHO experience for clients and staff.

  4. Administrative: Manage day-to-day client needs with regards to class packages, schedule, retail sales and more. Assist Team BOHO and clients with MindBody account needs. Run weekly reports on studio operations and manage MindBody schedule changes as delegated.

  5. Sales: Assist in overall sales for BOHO Studios, including class packages, retail/apparel, or other studio events. Facilitate sales training for Team Members ensure all points of sale are being hit with new and current clients.

  6. Marketing & Events: Effectively communicate and promote studio events to clients and Team Members. Assist with onsite execution of events, celebrations, parties etc. communicated from Marketing & Events Manager.



  • Previous customer service work experience in a boutique fitness studio setting or a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Previous experience teaching group fitness classes.

  • Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and some holidays. Studio hours range from 5:00am – 8:00pm. Ability to work split shifts throughout the week.

  • Experience with MindBody online or app preferred.

  • An outgoing personality and the ability to speak in front of groups and command the room.

  • A passion for fitness and motivating people to achieve their personal fitness goals.

  • Capacity to work well within a team environment as well as self-manage when working on their own.

  • Instruct group classes at BOHO Cycle Studio or other BOHO Studios locations as schedules allow.


General Job Duties:

  • Manage instructors and front desk team members ensuring class and shift coverage.

  • Manage sub and time off requests for studio staff.

  • Coordinate front desk schedule, day-to-day cleaning duties, and daily communication to the front desk team regarding studio operations.

  • Manage equipment repair, either personally repairing or coordinating maintenance/repair companies.

  • Manage BOHO info email in conjunction with other studio managers assisting clients with questions, class packages, schedule details, and other general incoming emails.

  • Manage all facilities-related retail and supply inventory within the studio.

  • Assist Director of Operations with studio specific instructor training.
