Susan became a yoga instructor because she wanted to give back to the community. Her personal yoga practice is instrumental for her mental and physical health, and she wants each person in her class to discover that benefit as well. In her classes, you can expect plenty of opportunities to modify or progress your practice while getting a good sweat. Not to worry - you'll get plenty of zen too. She always makes a point to include restorative postures in class - they feel even sweeter after challenging workout!
What is your favorite yoga pose and why?
Forearm stand- when I first started practicing it, it felt super out of reach. After years of practice, this pose makes me feel strong and helped make other inversions and arm balances accessible and fun.
